Illustrated Photography under attack by Hackers!

Yep, it's true folks, we've been targetted by some bloke trying to sell the world more Viagra.

I guess he was sore because his email campaign backfired, or something.

Anyway, the site was pretty much down for two days while me and Guru salvaged what we could from the database.

In the end very little was lost, (which is thanks entirely to Third's religious backup regime) but it did mean that we had to spend hours and hours getting things back up to speed, so if you tried to visit the site over the weekend, and were greeted by pretty blue pills, we offer our most sincere appologies.

Then again, you may just have been persuaded to part with some of your money, which would explain the big smile on your face.

Doing Backups is a very good practice, I never get tired of telling people to use them, but some will never learn.

I only have one question, where are the forums now? I was trying to see the main page, and it seams to be gone.

Yes, feloescoto, as you noted, it is at present a little hard to reach the forum front page. You can only do so via the "more" button in the "digital photography forum" block on the front page.

Some of our blocks got lost in the hack attack.

I have, however, left that as is for a few days, as I was busy redesigning the forums.

I am aiming to get all the blocks back up and running by the end of this coming weekend.

There is also a major revamp of user profile pages in the making, so check back soon.
