Well Saj, a good place to start is to take it out of the box! ;-)

Just kidding, I have recently done a review of the Lumix G1, you can read it here: Panasonic Lumix G1 Review

It is a very good camera and a great one to learn on as it offers the opportunity to do everything in manual.

If I was you though, I would take it out and take a few pictures in automatic mode, just to get the feel of it.

And don't forget to upload some of the pictures heres so we can all see what it is like.

It's a great picture. I will upload mine as soon as they are ready, may be  I can get some tips from you too.
