I can't see your images here, I tried to fix them, but the problem persists. Ed and I are working on fixing this issue and we apologies for any inconvenience.
I did see your full size images in your album and I do like the b/w one.
How did you convert it? Which settings did you use?
I don't know if this is what ed means, but to me it requires a little vintage added to it, right now it is only a b/w photo, the subject is really nice and the composition too (I like how you used the lines to give it perspective), but I think that it could use a little more work with the setting or some 'special effects' to really send it back to 1908.

As I thought about this conversation I thought I'd give Gimp a try. It did have alot of tools to play with......anyway, I usually dont think too much about my bad eye sight or color blindness but as I fooled with the different tools I realized I was not seeing my photo as someone else will. What looks great to me may not to someone with "normal" eyes.
My bad eye sight has never really bothered me too much, other then not being able to drive, because I was born like this. It hasn't been until recently that it's been a drag.
Well, thanks for listening to me vent. I think I will change my pace tonight and walk away from my computer and watch some tv.

Simplified forum images uploads
Do you all think I should remove the option of showing thumbnails? So that the full image is shown by default?
That would make things a little simpler, wouldn't it?
I'll see if I can fix that before the week is out.
The forum image uploads are one of my major concerns at the moment, I'll see how I can improve it.
PS. For this shot I like the black and white one, but I would convert it differently.
