Right, here's my dilema:

I've recently lent my tripod out to a friend (I know, I know, never lend your photographic gear to ANYONE).

And low and behold, when he returned it, it doesn't have the quick release shoe, the one that fits in between the camera and the tripod.

Now, I have looked everywhere, from ebay to independent sellers, but can't find the specific one to fit my tripod.

It is a Slik U8000, and I have even tried the company's own website, but to no avail.

So if anyone knows of a place where I can find one, or has a spare one laying around, I would be most grateful.
